I’m a manual QA that never had any formal training. I started a new job a year ago and I still don’t know WTF developers are talking about half the time. I think some of that is to be expected simply because I’m not a developer, and some of it can be chalked up to individuals kinda stroking their egos by spewing a ton of their technical knowledge at me, but fuck it’s getting old to be sitting there just like “Yeah OK”.
Fellow QA’s: is this unusual or am I just a victim of a specific company’s culture?
