Hey guys,
So this might seem like a really dumb question. I am a chef who is 28 years old trying to escape the field and I had a job interview to join a quality assurance team but as part of the team I need to do a software development apprenticeship, level 3.
So my friend works in QA there and he never did the apprenticeship. The QA side of things he showed me looks really straight forward testing the websites so I applied and my interview went really well. They said I was a great culture fit and said I'd need to do the apprenticeship. My worry is that I will just out right fail it due to lack of experience. Do you need to pass any certain assessment tests to qualify, is it difficult or could I easily pick it up with hard work?
If anyone could give me any insight or drop me a private message to discuss this I'd really appreciate it.
