Work for a big company who likes to talk about agile values, but all fixes no matter how major follow a pre-set timeline. No concern for the effect on an individual or group, a problem could fully block a person's refund for example, and the fix could be ready tomorrow, no matter, it will wait until next release 5 weeks out.
Am I nuts? I can't understand how we talk about agile development and then sit on projects for no reason. Imagine an agile approach in a super corporate environment where regular office politics nonsense halts reasonable actions in reasonable timeframes.
Is this how it is everywhere? They're values I would like to uphold with sincerity, but this is kinda stupid.
