Streaming videos from front end to back end

I made a project which use a python back end and uses video processing at the back end. I am not able to steam video footage from the front end to the server. The idea is to make multiple front end nodes and each of them send the live video footage to the back end for processing. I am trying to make a real time system, so is this even a good idea to stream it back to the server? I don't want to do any processing on the front end so this seems the only option to me. Are there any alternatives for this?
