Hello guys. I'm currently in the Army and in college getting my core classes done so when I get out I can start my bachelors in Computer Science. My current class wants me to 'interview' someone in the field, but I thought it'd be better to ask a few questions and get a few responses from different people to have some variety. If you have the time please answer a few of these. Oh yeah, and also please only answer if you are or have ever been employed as a software developer. Thank you!
-Do you do a lot of actual coding as a dev? What do you do besides coding?
-Do you wish you did more or less coding?
(asking these \^^ because I love coding and don't want the non-coding tasks to outnumber my time actually coding and developing))
-Is there something you wish you knew before becoming a software dev?
-What do you wish you could change about your current job?
-Lastly, advice for someone wanting to become a software developer?
Thank you again for your time.
