Hey. I was wondering what kind of mentality should I have for receiving feedback for code reviews?
I’m a relatively new developer, and I put my first code review up and it was ate up by my tech lead. I made redundant calls to log some information because a different library I called already logs the same information, but I didn’t know that, and made mistakes like that.
I was wondering if that was okay to get grilled like that on your first code review?
What are the purposes of code reviews? My code always runs correctly but is not structured correctly. Is this not okay?
Any feedback would be very much appreciated
