Struggling to find the “appropriate forum”; Question on combining software and excel

Hi all,

Let me start by saying that I am pretty new to anything to do with software development. This seems to be the best forum to ask, but please direct me to the right subreddit if I am mistaken. I am very willing to learn but I am clueless as where to start even after going througj google.

I am looking to create a website that asks a set of questions to users. These questions differ based on the previous answers of the users and will change based on the situation at hand. The answers to those questions would then be inserted in an excel that does the work (functions and math) [I created the excel and that is ready to roll (I also made up all the questions linked to all the different cells)]. However, I have no clue as to how to make a website asking those questions (in the correct sequence) nor on how to insert the answers in the excel spreadsheet.

I think I managed to figure out how the results in the excel can then be inserted in the pdf form, so I think I understand how to do that.

Any pointers on (1) how to make the website asking questions and (2) insert those answers in the excel are much appreciated. If I appear to be unclear or vague, it is because I am currently not up to speed with making websites as mentioned above. I will try to clarify where necessary. Any basic information is much appreciated.
