Does anyone here know where I can get started with creating device function drivers for Windows?

I'm trying to learn how to make device function drivers for windows because I got a really cheap vr headset recently (20 dollars) and found that it is so cheap because the manufacturer stopped releasing driver updates to go with GPU updates… The drivers for their device stopped being compatible with AMD graphics cards like 20 patches ago, and I had to figure that out by testing out like ten different driver packages… Does anybody in here know a good place to start on learning how to develop drivers for the thing? I am very, very used to programming, and I learn programming concepts very fast (typically seconds after reading about them). I have no problem with diving in. Appreciate any help.
