Been a software developer for about a year and a half now and it seems like although i'm finally getting a hang of developing software i just can't seem to understand things like path variables, bins, dependency management etc. I try to spend my weekends coding up my own projects but i seem to never run into coding issues, only environment issues like node_modules failing to install correctly, my golang path isnt being setup in the right place, my python environment variables are wrong etc etc. Anyone have any good resources? I work mainly on ubuntu at home and macos at work so i'm assuming i'd be looking at some sort of unix/bash type resource?
thanks
