Sales in a software startup, want to learn more about your world

Hey all,

Not sure if this is appropriate but it's my first time selling software and we're a really small team. I'd love to be able to contribute in meetings and speak somewhat intelligently about the things that are going on. Can anyone point me towards any resources that might help me out? My starting point was Agile software development methodology if that helps at all..
