Best way to switch jobs when you aren’t coding enough?

Work at a large tech company. Been here almost two years. We do much more ops and don’t actually code much so I’ve become stale in that regard.

Do I just start coding again and practicing leetcode problems in my spare time? How do I explain this on interviews?
