I have a social media app idea that I think would do amazingly well. I have a ton of experience in marketing, generating over $200M in sales the last 3 years as an example. I say this because I believe I have a good grasp of how to get traffic to the app and raise awareness for the app. If we can make even a semi-decent app I can make it a top grossing app.
I’ve built small apps but nothing really robust like the social media app idea I have. The apps were small scale and short term projects for myself and the developer. What I dont have a clue about is how to find a great software developer for such a complex project and how do I compensate them long term in a way that shows they’re valued?
I looked up articles and books etc but none of them really give me insight to what it’s like to be employed as a software developer. (I want to understand what drives you to commit to company etc) I feel like my developers will be a huge part of the apps success and I’d love any insight you have on everything Ive just said.
Thank you!
