How does working with IT and software affect your social life?

Hi everyone,

Sorry if this is slightly of topic:

I know that a lot of Software Engineers or people working with IT in general are very focusing on their work and sometimes they have trouble socializing because they are sitting in front of the computer all day, how is that going for you?

Do you think you could be more social?

Obvisouly it's a generalisation, I just thought it might be something we could talk about discuss.
