Is there anything I can do before I begin my software development education?

I am starting school at my community college this summer in the Computer Information Systems/Software Development program. I was wondering if anyone can give me any information, resources, videos, books, or any knowledge at all that I could be using in my free time to maybe get a good idea or a head start on my education before I actually begin school? Or should I just go in with not much prior knowledge and just an enthusiasm and good attitude and try to learn as much as I can while in school? Any feedback is appreciated, and thanks to all who reply!
