Cons of Developing Software using Laravel?

We are starting develop of a CRM/Dashboard/Document Management and Client Portal software.

It will be built on a Laravel framework. I am seeing mixed opinions online. The developer using laravel claims to be able to get the software ready very quickly. I am considering having it built, scaling the company and then rebuilding using another framework next year. That is assuming the framework provides disadvantages at large scale.

I did not know what frameworks were until recently and still have limited knowledge. I do not have a development background. I am a Founder of a tech startup and I want to make sure we make the right development decisions. Any advice would be appreciated!
