UX design question

I have to create a website where students can see their own grades.

The secretaries can also edit someone's grades.

Since you can have many students, how would you implement this?

I was thinking of creating a table where you can see all students, filter them and when you click on a student it redirects you to a page where you can edit a grade for a course the student is taking.

Is this the best approach?
