I ask this because it seems like a cottage industry has popped up where Agile is sold, but Date Scrum is delivered. Date Scrum is where people are pressured to get Something™ out by a date – and all advise, dissent and learning is squashed in favor of hitting that date with Something™.
My theory is that this causes a lot of us to end up working at companies where we're delivering Something™ by the date, but the customer is less than excited about what they get.
