Can I bundle and distribute Java with my application?

Are there any legal reasons why I shouldn't do this? Some time ago someone told me that it is probably against Java's ToS, but I want to make sure.

My project will be a free/open source under the GNU GPLv3 license. The java version that I want to bundle is Java SE Runtime Environment 8u251.
