master/slave and blacklist, are there opinion polls?

If I have to be forced to rummage tons of code in search of "bad" terms like master/slave or blacklist, at least I'd like to know if the proposals to change that jargon come from a bunch of, let's put it this way, opinionated activists, or there is at least a significant minority that agrees with it. So, are there opinion polls on the issue, having some kind of statistical reliability?
