How to deal with cultural and political barriers?

Hello there,

I'm a software engineer and my company is going through an improvement process. I'm pretty new at the company but I'm helping with those improvements. I managed to get the team started with gitflow, code reviews, scrum, sprints, sprint retrospectives, breaking stories into small pieces and things like that.

But the senior members of the team (by senior I mean people with more time in the company) doesn't always follow the process and that pretty much screw things up. For instance, when we need to rush to get things done to go live, instead of following the gitflow process I see commits straight in develop and master that end up causing more headache…

I'm not in a leader position to stand up and say something with authority, but I still do say something and explain why we should follow the process and try to improve things. Development is a pain there with a bunch of not automated deployments that takes 20-30 minutes to do them manually.

What is you experience in this situations? What would you do? How do you deal with it? What are some workaround and strategies I can do instead of just getting pissed off and frustrated with this whole thing?
