Which softare methodology to choose for what kind of projects?

Hello I'm trying to learn for an exam which software methodology to choose for specific types of projects

Could someone provide a good link for that? I have seen that most are based on the team size instead of the software.

I know Spiral is good for software that needs to be safe by continious testing.

Scrum? For software with changing requirements during development?

Waterfall for Sofware that does not change in requirements and suites for strictly following the path from requirement analysis to maintaince?

V-Model for safe software that could contain much backslashing in development?
