Going to school and want community suggestions

Hey everyone,

I’m going to school for software development. I always like to reach out to these types of communities to see what you all think (since you probably have superior knowledge to me).

What kind of computer + specs would you recommend – minimum to medium. (Probs won’t have the money for the very top of the line haha, but if it’s affordable, sure why not throw it in.)

I’ve always been super familiar with the Mac, (used to be super familiar with PC, but those days have long gone haha)

So yes, anything Mac related is wonderful, but if I have to switch back to a PC that’s okay too.
