What’s the best way to learn Design Patterns?

I am looking for the tips and resources to learn various design patterns, their usages and how I can incorporate them in my application development. I am fairly new to this subject and haven't dwelled up in designing / developing applications with complexity that requires this kind of structuring. But now I feel that getting acquainted with the concepts is required. I primarily use Java and have come across some blogs/ articles for the same. Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions :).
