Hi everyone! I am a new software developer and getting imposter syndrome HARD. I am worried that I don’t know enough or ask too many questions. I work from home so I don’t actually see anyone’s reactions or expressions when I talk to them so I have absolutely no idea if I’m annoying people when I ask questions.
I usually give projects a solid shot and once I get stuck I ask a more experienced developer for advice on how to get through a tough situation. I tell them what I’ve tried and what I don’t know how to do or maybe what I think I should do.
So I guess I just want to know what your experience is guiding a fresh college grad who’s new to the industry? Do questions throughout the day bother you? What can I do to become a great software engineer and learn as fast as possible?
