I am in a company where I had the opportunity to create a department and develop software solutions. So far it's been great, I'm managing to deliver everything and the company is loving it, that is, it is giving good results. But I never worked for a company on major software development projects. How could I learn the most appropriate common practices and how do these large projects work? Without necessarily working on one of these. Or does it vary a lot and just understanding the technologies is enough?
