I’m adding localization support to my software, users can download the language packs that they need which are two files. To keep all these files separated I contain each language in its own folder. For example, here is my layout:
-MyApp MyApp.exe -Localization -1033 en-US.lang en-US.dict config.cfg
Instead of using the languages LCID as the folder name would it be better to use the actual name? I see Microsoft using my setup quite frequently in its own software but what is the point when parsing an LCID generates more overhead than just parsing the language name?
