Electron (Framework) pro cons?

Hi all, I am new to software engineering and programming (in a serious way – I am 15 now).

I wonder which disadvantages a Electron developed app has about a native Python or Java application. Assuming that both do the same thing (eg a text editor). I know that there is no "better" or "worse" but maybe someone could explain the differences in how both behave.
