Ease my mind?

I am a CS student who is planning on graduating in 1-3 years(WGU, self paced), and I am wondering if by the time I’m ready for internships/jobs if this “gold rush” of employment opportunities is expected to be over. I’m also concerned that the market in general may not be as open and may be even more competitive than it already is. I also see people on the industry taking about how software developers may end up becoming obsolete in the next few years due to automation and the focus will be more on AI and ML. I guess I’m just getting lost in the industry gossip too early. Any thoughts?
