Say you’re creating a content viewing mobile app in react-native that has an instagram explore-like UI/UX feature to view varying news content —— where users choose X number of news topics — question on best way to display relational data/content to users based on those profile news topics…

(Using this ex. in the title to help describe)

Basically we're displaying data to users in sales/marketing based on their current role goals, and displaying in an instagram-explore-like feature that displaying content/info based on who they target.

We have our source data/content, we have also mapped who see's what based on those user profile selections (the big aspect to our system), also we're using firebase in a react-native framework…

Since we're matching via a relational database, I'm looking for some help on best practices in how to guide my engineering team past just matching these users to this set of data based on what they select in a profile.
