Good ways to verify Humans?

I would like to try to identify real Humans and link them to content in the hopes it will decrease spam and nsfw, gore, illegal, etc. content uploads.

I realize that captcha will be recommended. But, I'm curious if there are other ways. For instance, can validating a bank account, credit card, or photo license be solutions? There are usability and trust issues with those approaches, I know. But, in this case, it would be acceptable to lose a bunch of users.
