Job application requirements as a college student

I'm coming to the end of my third year at college and am going to be doing 4th year but also looking at jobs just to see what the industry wants from graduates. What baffles me is the long list of requirements the companies look for e.g. 'Four years of JS experience'. Does that mean over the duration of my course or outside of it. Also the requirements are different for each job and I am concerned that I won't able to get a job after college due to all of these. Maybe I'm just panicking. Did anyone else feel this way when they were coming to the end of their college degree? On a side note the languages I want to be proficient at for a job is JS, Java, HTML/CSS and React and SQL.
