Automating monotonous tasks at work

Hey everyone! Not sure if this is the right sub or not so please direct me elsewhere if this is not the place.

I am wondering how possible this idea may be (if at all) – I currently work in commercial lending to smaller sized businesses. In one of our niches, we get a list of 50-150 individuals who are being on boarded to purchase a franchise location which we have the opportunity to handle financing for.

One of the more monotonous tasks I have to do is comb through the list each month and essentially search the business address in google to find the current owner and also search our CRM database for any contacts with the individual. I am wondering how feasible it would be to put together some kind of software that would automate this process. I am tech savvy but do not have a ton of coding experience. I have quite a bit of free time at work and would be willing to put in the time to learn whichever language seems fitting for something like this, but I have no idea where to start.

I'd really appreciate any kind of advice and please let me know if I can elaborate any more on the idea.
