Help me convince my team our project management skills suck!

We're X years over time. It's never been this bad before. I'd chalk this up to extreme scope creep and being lead by someone who wants to use the latest technology no one else is familiar with. A lot of my time is spent researching which is a major plus for my resume, but adds time to the project. We're upgrading existing software which has turned into a complete rewrite.

So, how do I convince my team that we need to change our process? Are my expectations too high? What specifically should I be recommending?

My suggestions have resulted in backlash and irritation from my co-workers:
– We need more documentation, detailed spec, etc
– We need a project plan with stakeholders everyone shares including the business
– We need a timeline with due dates
– We need a roadmap with ability to move time consuming tasks to future releases
– We have no risks section to explain to the business why we get behind

Here's a picture of what my team looks like:
– Small company under 50 employees, our dept is 3 developers each with 20 years exp.
– The business side has no idea how software development works.
– We're a Visual Studio shop, single branch source control
– We've tried Agile, but the whole Sprint idea made no sense given how many different projects we work on per week. We almost need the inverse of Agile, many projects per developer.
– There's usually no central project plan document, or if there is one it was created for the business only.
– I typically manage my piece in Notepad or Google Docs, with a release notes (change log) being the only way to track my projects. Little to no docs on how it functions.
– Rarely are we asked for time estimates
– Strangely we get shit done. We do communicate effectively thru email, chat, meetings, and sometimes because I shared my Google Doc.

Common quotes are:
"By the time we document it, we could be done."
"Just do a couple tasks each day and we'll be fine."
"Complete smaller tasks to create the illusion of progress."
"Software development is impossible to give accurate time estimates."
