Hybrid app with minimal upkeep

Hey devs,

If you were to choose a js framework to build a hybrid app, with the focus being speed of development, decent feature libraries, and low upkeep what are you reaching for?

The backend will be a Rails API, won't be using firebase etc.

My primary feature needs are – high quality video and photo upload/download. – Goup chats will not be part of the MVP but will be a focalpoint after launch. Social logins are just a nice to have but obv the heavy lifting of in the BE.

What libraries would you use for testing and styling (would how to use Tailwind but am open)?
