Collage for Software Development

Hello everybody, I’m a current Highschool student, senior. And have enrolled to go to collage for Software Development. I was hoping I could get advice on a few things. 1) Are there any websites I can use (preferably for free or low cost) that can teach the basics of coding to me 2) Books. Although I don’t necessarily like reading, I understood that it’s most likely very important to get some books about the subject. Are there any good books out there that are also for beginners? 3) Other. Any other recommendations y’all have

I am just now starting to get into this, I have no previous experience coding whatsoever, so any advice would be appreciated. I just think that getting a little head start for my collage classes would be beneficial, thank you.
