Opinion: Agile was a starting point, not the destination

I've been thinking for a while about how many organizations cargo cult Agile practices & ceremonies from 20 years ago, over following the original abstract principles, and how this is holding software development back.

So wrote a longer piece about how it is time to move beyond industrialized Agile.
