So I recently was introduced to an project – which on its own looks like a hot mess to me but that is not the point here. The point is that I tried to reverse engineer a class diagram using MyEclipse. But the problem is this: The diagram for only 7 packages (that appear to implement basic stuff) is big enough to 1) not be visible in the respective perspective of MyEclipse even when entirely zoomed all the way out and 2) on attempts of actually printing said diagram results in a positive mess of A3.
What I'd like to know now would be how to convert this diagram (or rather the corresponding umldi file) into an actual properly printable file or if that is not possible, how to actually get the diagram printed onto a reasonable amount of paper.
Please tell me, if this does not fit in to the scope of r/softwaredevelopment. I have felt rather self-concious of posting this question on stackoverflow.
