Scientific calculator as a translator

Hello, I want to modify my scientific calculator like i could use it as a translator also ! ( from French – English ) I am not a software developer so I don't know how to make this project real. Any suggestions how to start? Steps that I should do? And any advice will be welcomed to me as I am new here. Thanks in advance
