Tools/Products for use case

Hello! I am a backend software developer and was presented with a problem requiring end user engagement as part of the business solution. Here is the gist of the problem,

1. Data is present in a Data Lake env (Databricks/Hadoop/Snowflake etc)
2. A business user needs to be able to run reports and send static reports to a third party (sending is not part of the problem)
3. Reports will need to be presented in a format driven by configuration metadata, maintained by business user (possibly through a UI?).
4. The metadata changes made by a user should go thru an approval process involving the supervisor.

Are there any products that integrate with the data source and support this type of workflow?

I was not able to come up with any products that can do this out of the box. The simplest solution to me seems to be a React/Vue frontend app interacting with a backend service capable of running reports and metadata management workflows.
