Is authenticating with Microsoft’s oauth system programmatically a violation of their terms?

Within our company we use a website that uses MS oauth. We want to automate some of the form submissions by mimicking a browser. First, we'd need to authenticate. ChatGPT told me to be careful as this may violate the terms of service, and could result in a ban. But I couldn't find any further information. Does anyone have any knowledge on this?
