Looking for advisors who have worked on NLEs

How would you go about finding an advisor who worked in the NLE space. NLE means Non-Linear Editing. So Avid, Final Cut, Adobe Premiere. How do you find people who worked on those programs? Every time I try searching on LinkedIn it always comes up with video editors, the people who use the software. Just looking for advice as to where I should be looking.
