I’m using localtunnel to expose my localhost with a port but it’s not working!

I executed

lt --port 8888 

in cmd and it says

your url is: https://clever-news-juggle-99-227-33-129.loca.lt 

When I open it in my browser, first it'll display that "Tunnel website ahead!" webpage as expected. But after I click on "Click to Continue", it takes a minute of loading and then says

504 Gateway Time-out nginx/1.17.9 

What am I missing here? I spent a lot of time researching this but nothing seems to work out. Thanks for any help or suggestion.
