Are there any cons to converting a web based app to an exe?

Many of our end users do not have reliable internet access or access at all, but may need access to the app. Besides the obvious issues of when we need to patch it, are there any other downsides to this? Trying to consider any issues that might come up. We provide users with a computer, so I’m confident that there won’t be too many issues with hardware as they are all the same. We would mail them the exe on a usb via snail mail.

I already made the exe and in preliminary testing it behaves exactly the same as the web app.

The app performs operations on end user uploaded data, so no issues with needing to pull anything from the web.
