Hi Everyone,
In my company, we have a small team of software developers 2/3 persons, but over time we have developed many services, some custom-made, some just using already built docker images.
So far we have hosted them on a Linux Machine running then on Docker in containers. But we were looking for something to create workflows that could orchestrate with a UI and via code, also that would allow having something similar to serverless but self-hosted for short-lived services that are waked up by others. One constraint we have is that it has to be self-hosted since we handle very sensitive data.
We were thinking of using Direktiv which uses any Kubernetes software such as k3s. My first question is if it would actually be a good idea or if we are better off with something else. Is it feasible to maintain k3s for a small team in a productive environment (it would be a single cluster)? If not, what would you suggest to use for creating workflows between containers/services?
