Hi!
I'm a software dev at a medium ~ large-sized company (around 300 devs worldwide).
I'm finding myself spending tons of time during the day not writing code and trying to get my code merged – whether it is rebasing and rerunning pipelines, pinging team members, or just having to merge my fix into several release branches and repeat the whole process again.
I think I spend a few hours per week on that alone
Does my company just suck at this? or is it a general problem?
Would like to hear some thoughts and (possible) solutions.
Thanks!
