Trying to get a software to run windowed mode

I am interning at a small tech company and we are having a very old program to run in windowed mode. It was written in Delphi, and we don't have access to the source code. All we have is the .exe and the rest of the files. How can we force this .exe to run on windowed mode? (3 engineers + myself couldn't solve this)
