I’ve been blogging for many years now. I post sporadically and mainly long-form considerations about software engineering practices, team effectiveness, working agilely. Some of my most recent post titles as follows to give you an idea of the content:
- How to miss a delivery date
- Embracing deadlines as software engineers
- Is software quality attainable in Agile contexts?
- Yes, TDD slows you down
- The Mythical DevOps Engineer
Some of them have actually generated decent interest but I’d love to establish myself more on such topics.
I lack consistency for sure and do not feel motivated about posting short-form content frequently because I do not see enough traffic.
Does any of you in this sub have a successful blog about similar topics that is willing to share some tips on how to improve? I’m also open to “your content just sucks” but I’d like some input around promoting my articles, how to keep traffic coming and where on the internet you share your articles.
Thank you for your time.
