CRM as an API

I am sick'n'tired of some GUI applications.

I'd just need a CRM application, but I cannot stand the nuances of the existing ones:

I will go off and implement my own with an API and a commandline client to query:

Contacts

Roles

Companies

If I implement something like that, would anyone else want to use something similar ?
