Video Game Industry Questions

Every time I see posts/talk about the video game industry, everyone always says that they’re horrible and don’t pay much.

However, I just checked Glassdoor, levels.fyi, and h1bdata and nearly all of the large video game companies have new grads making $100k minimum and medians are $150k-$175k. So why does everyone say that jobs in the video game industry are terrible. Is it just because of the hours/crunch?
