I have been messing around with coding once in a while for years, but don't know what the next step is and which language i should "master". I am currently studying electrical engineering and have always been very interested in both hardware and software.
99% of the projects I think of are code that has to do with something I wanna build, like for example, if I wanna make an air purifier, then I'm also interested in making the software that makes it work and makes it accessible. So far I've mainly thought about back-end since i suck at graphic design and such.
Does anyone know what this direction of programming is called and what languages I should learn for it?
